Starting the new year with another recap, this time a list of important settings to control user access and external sharing in SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business. Many new features in those areas were announced at Ignite and some of them have already made it to the service. For example, we now have controls to restrict external access to specific network locations in SPO and ODFB. The functionality is similar to what we already got with Conditional access for Azure AD few months back, but it does not require any additional licenses.
We also have the new ODFB admin portal, which exposes many of the settings that were previously scattered between the SPO Admin Center, Intune and PowerShell.
