Dirsync and ADSync are now officially deprecated

It’s official now, since April 13th both Dirsync and ADSync have been officially designated as deprecated products. Most of us of course knew this is coming for a while now, so no surprises here. Just a reminder that it’s time to switch to AADConnect 🙂

You will notice that some of Azure AD related articles on TechNet/MSDN/Azure have been updated with the following statement:

Important:
Azure AD Connect is the best way to connect your on-premises directory with Azure AD and Office 365. This is a great time to upgrade to Azure AD Connect from Windows Azure Active Directory Sync (DirSync) or Azure AD Sync as these tools are now deprecated and will reach end of support on April 13, 2017.
