In case you have not heard it yet, the new, third edition of the “Office 365 for IT Pros” eBook has been released. Yes, the name is new (changed from “Office 365 for Exchange Professionals”), as the focus has shifted a bit – it now covers a lot of stuff outside of Exchange Online. Authors are the same, which guarantees the quality of content, the absence of marketing talk, and strong focus on real-life examples. The book is 800 pages strong, even after some major cuts and moving a lot of content to separate “bonus content” sections, downloadable from http://exchangeserverpro.com.
As with the previous versions, expect this edition to be regularly updated as new features appear in Office 365 or existing ones change. One thing is for sure – the rate of innovation in Office 365 is not slowing down, and keeping a book like this current is a massive effort!
Another new element is the addition of a second Technical editor, some guy named Vasil Michev. According to Tony, his reviews of the sample chapters shared with MVPs have been very helpful, which prompted the invitation to join the book’s team. So I’ve been pretty busy in the past few weeks going over different chapters of the book, making sure we’re providing you with the latest info about the service, cleaning up any inconsistencies, hunting down spelling, grammar and typographical issues, even pitching in some interesting facts. I’m proud to have been part of the team and I hope my contributions have made it a bit more polished and enjoyable!
